Enhances Fiber Service Capacity
OpVista leverages the powering of enhancing wavelength spectral efficiency by harnessing more bandwidth from the fiber infrastructure. Only OpVista provides Microwave Photonics technology, upgrades of 2.5G engineered networks to 10G independent of fiber quality, dispersion, or distance.
The OpVista2000 system is uniquely suited to cost-effectively transport packet over Ethernet services streams, cost-effectively incrementally scaling from 2 GbE to 800 GbE.
Service Flexibility
OpVista enables service flexibility at multiple network layers allowing service providers to manage services at different layers. The motivation behind the flexibility is to give service providers full control of network ability to manage bandwidth to provide the lowest cost and optimize packet aggregation.
Our Broadcast and Select architecture, coupled with our Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (S-ROADM), provide service providers with the flexibility to rapidly reconfigure the network to add new services without costly truck rolls or service disruptions to existing customers.
The OpVista2000 provides asymmetric bandwidth provisioning to enable carriers to take advantage of high bandwidth downstream while using small bandwidth upstream for control, perfect for video services.
Service Availability
OpVista’s Switched Ring Architecture allows service providers to provide high availability at the optical layer without losing the benefit of reconfigurability or at a high first cost. The OpVista2000 provides a logical mesh network over a physical ring, enabling optical protection while also offering any wavelength anywhere.
